Inkjet Cartridges

Mainland Cartridge Works Inc. has been remanufacturing printer cartridges for 7 years. Our step by step process in very thorough to ensure only the highest of quality for our customers. This is the only way that we can offer a 100% guarantee on all the products that we sell. This process is outline below:

Step1. Inspection
Before we begin to remanufacture an inkjet cartridge it is thoroughly inspected to ensure there is no damage to the circuitry on the cartridge or to the cartridge itself. If everything checks out then we proceed to step 2.

Step 2. Cleaning.
Each cartridge is cleaned ultrasonically inside and out. All remaining ink is thoroughly flushed from the cartridge and are allowed to dry. 

Step 3. Refilling.
This is perhaps the most important step in the process. Mainland Cartridge Works Inc. only uses the finest quality of inks available to ensure results that are as good as OEM (original equipment manufacturers). Each cartridge is filled according to ink volumes set out by the manufacturer. Proper vacuum must be achieved to ensure that the cartridge will not leak or print poorly. Our experienced technicians have years of experience in inkjet refilling .

Step 4. Resealing.
After the cartridges are filled with ink, certain ones must be resealed. Clever techniques are used here so you can't tell that is was refilled. Most of the cartridges are sealed with plastic clips while others are simple sealed with non-residue, anti-static tape.

Step 5. Testing.
Every cartridge that we refill is thoroughly tested to ensure and very high quality product. Print tests are done by using a regular inkjet printer designed to use that cartridge. A test pattern of some sort will gauge the quality of the printout. The only way to truly tell if a cartridge is printing correctly is to install it in a printer and run test pages. Mainland Cartridge Works Inc. includes this test page in the packaging so you can see the cartridge is functioning properly.

Step 6. Packaging.
The cartridges are physically inspected once more. The print heads are professionally taped using a machine that applies tape to the heads with the exact pressure necessary. This is not guess work. Print head sealing tape applied the wrong way may damage the cartridge. If a sealing clip is required then it is applied at this time. All of our cartridges are sealed in poly bags for a professional look.
